Skullcandy Goes from Rock to Roll

Holy smokes!! We all knew that Skullcandy was ROCKIN’… But I’m sure it came as at least a BIT of a surprise when they pulled in the $188.8 million, since they were hoping for $150 mill… Skullcandy be ROLLIN’ now that it raised this amount in its public offering on the NASDAQ. This is nothing short of a HUGE deal for a great company that has done a lot to keep us rocking while hitting those pow lines… or more importantly- when hiking to those pow lines. Big high five to the Utah boys for making it big time. Pretty sure you will be seeing Skullcandy, Inc. everywhere you go in the world with those heavy pockets.

Started not too long ago (2003) by Rick Alden, when he combined headphones with hands-free cellular technology… Not only that, Alden sold the first products to Milo. He was then named as one of the top 100 Venture Entrepreneurs pf 2008 and holds a patent for technology that integrates mobile phones and music players, LINK technology. This guy means business…
